Mr. and Mrs. King's 1st Thanksgiving

....So I took it upon myself to cook dinner. I had no idea how much work was put into it. Note to self: ake sure Sage is in your spice assortment. Kenya and myself had good everywhere to find it. We even visited an Indian Supermarket..still came up short. Although, there was consumption of herb in my body. My pores bled for about an hour. Finally we found the sage at Tom Thumb for 5 damn dollars. There were no worries of me messing up, being that my parents know how to throw down. I just don't do it. It takes too long to complete. I just found a pic that was designed after we broke up for the last time. I don't know if Dimitrius ever saw this but he will now. Couples can persevere through anything. If it's meant to be, it will happen. I've always been that way. Lesser than 2 yrs later, we did it.

Black Romance

If I had the chance to meet any Black Power Couple, it would be the three above. They all compliment each other in the most respectful way. To me, the root of it all is to know what works and companionship. In my personal relationship I feel that myself and my King possess the same qualities as these impressive men and women. How often do we express the beauty of black romance with one another? Expression of black romance is seen by others. It's not just physical. I sit up and I think to myself...I tell Dimitrius every chance I get how cute he is. I kiss him. Fruitful, we are. Short kisses here and there, hugs to embrace the warmth of his body. At times I look at him while he's working just to catch that indentation on his cheek appear. Physically we do change, but I love my man everyday the same as I did when I first told him I loved him. Which that moment happened in the bathroom of his Mom's apartment. One once asked was chivalry gone? No, perhaps the woman can play a role in opening the door, taking the bill, rubbing his feet.
Now yes, there are days when we feel defeated but Im sure the first couple does as well. After defeat comes the best love making in the world! If you think it's great before you disagree then wait until the end of the storm. I see him as the greatest human ever made for me.
He finds me humorous and spontaneous. And I find him predictable and complimentary.

Every once in a while it is a couple's duty to give thanks for each other and show appreciation. I love everything about you. You make me better, just a little bit everyday. I'm your Bonnie and you're my Clyde. This journey you have taken me on thus far has been truly fascinating. As we took those vows not only did we make a promise to one another, but to everyone that shared that day with us. As ur wife, it is my pleasure to support you, make you want to come home, and make you proud to have me on your arm.

Our 1st baby, Rileigh King's, first day

Today we brought home 6 wk old Rileigh King. I went thru hell and hot water to get him. I feel like I went through labor. I plan to take great care of him. Right now we are letting him walk around and get a feel for the place. He loves my scent so far. Here are a couple of pics and a video.

Ok, ppl! The show airs on Sept 27th and Oct 4th. Please make sure you all watch it! It is going to be hilarious! I refrained from being a complete bitch because I do have a professional life outside of my personal life. I did have those moments but I did a lot of cursing off camera. I want this to be the most watched episode. We're looking for ratings here. GIve your friends, family and our haters this info so that they can tune is as well. I look forward to watching it myself.
